Small Group Skill Work

All members of Toronto Lords will have access to weekly small group or individual skill training, under the watchful eye of current Ryerson University and University of Toronto players who dedicate their time to making sure that all our players are learning the right techniques at a young age, and refining those skills as they get older.

Sessions will focus on age specific skill development, and focus primarily on individual skills, such as ballhandling, shooting, passing, and offensive moves.  Sessions run for 90 minutes, and each course will be 10 sessions long, with an individual program designed for each athlete.

Our next set of sessions start the week of March 21, and are available every night in downtown Toronto.

Personal Fitness Training

Toronto Lords has partnered with Fitsquad (www.fitsquad.ca) to provide top line physical fitness training for our athletes.  It is their goal to provide:

* LOW BARRIER ACCESS TO STRENGTH TRAINING PROGRAMMING FOR INNER CITY YOUTH AGED 12-18 YEAR OLD
* PROVIDING EARLY ACCESS TO STRENGTH TRAINING TO ENSURE INJURY PREVENTION AND LONGTERM SUCCESS WITHIN THE SPORT
* DELIVERING EDUCATION TO SUPPORT LONGTERM OVERALL HEALTH AND FITNESS

TO PROVIDE FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH TRAINING TO ADVANCE YOUTH SPORT PERFORMANCE AND IMPROVE THEIR OVERALL HEALTH AT NO COST.
THIS PROGRAM CONSISTS OF:
A.) FUNDAMENTALS OF STRENGTH TRAINING
B.) SPORT SPECIFIC TRAINING
C.) FOUNDATIONS TO BETTER OVERALL HEALTH AND NUTRITION

All athletes 12 and up will be a part of this ground breaking new program!
